Today I am ready to share you the famous Pala
thalikalu payasam mostly seen in Andhra state in India, is prepared during
festivals, marriage functions, any occasions in home. pala thalikalu is also
called as homemade sweet noodles with the help of jageery, wheat flour, milk,
ghee, fired nuts. pala thalikalu is a
sweet pudding not only liked by kids but
also by elders.

Pala thalikalu can be derived as pala = milk, thalikalu=
sweet noodles. Pala thalikalu is mostly
famous in festival time like MAKARA
SANKRANTHI, varalakshmi vratham, Ganesh chaturthi , navarathri puja
almost all the festivals common sweet pudding.
Pala thalikalu is my mostly
liked recipe and also called as my mom’s recipe. It’s very easy recipe only
having with 5 ingredients.

We can make pala thalikalu by using sugar

Wheat flour have a thick texture when
we pour in hot milk it may not broken it stick like noodles in hot milk. otherwise
we can also add rice flour or we can add both of them.

Let’s look at
its desired ingredients:

All fried Nuts like cashew nuts,
almonds, pistachio, raisin etc.

Let’s look at its desired steps:
Step 1: Firstly, take a pan add ghee pour all the nuts cashew nuts, almonds, pistachio, raisin etc. cook it for 2 min. keep aside.

Step 2: Here I take a 1 lit of milk
and boil the milk.

Step 3: Take a bowl add wheat and
rice flour on it , pinch of salt ,2 spoons of ghee on it.

Step 4: Mix it very well with the
help of water to make a lumps free. Dough must be soft and thick if it loose
add flour on it.

Step 5: Grease your janthikalu maker,
put your dough inside the maker. When you press it dough should be come out as
noodles with out breaking.

Step 6: After boiling the milk place
the frame in medium and press it dough should be come out as noodles without any
breaking.

Step 7: In a dough bowl add water mix
it very well without any lumps. Pour into the milk.

Step 8: Do not stir for 5 min they
will break or dough not cook well after 10 min check the dough with help of
spoon or ladle.

Step 9: Pour jagerry on it mix it

ready serve them in a bowl and place as navidayam (offered as god) after taste

Best for more results:
Maintain medium-low flame only if you
maintain high flame the flour dough will cook properly .
Only add ghee or butter for sweet to
get best aroma and good looking .
Consume the creamy
payasam when it is mild hot because pala thalikalu is made of wheat flour when
it cools down the creamy texture is thicken.
Do not stir with
spoon or ladle until the flour dough is settled in milk.
Cooking nuts in ghee definitely our
house is spreading with good aroma.
We can take same quantity wheat and rice as per our choice.
