                       Today in this blog I want to share you BROKEN WHEAT RAVA UPMA RECIPE with the help of tamarind juice which is different style recipe. WHEAT RAVA UPMA everyone make it normal recipe easy to make , it in this post I can share with you  easy methods as like  we can easily made in home and easily understand by step by step procedures and easily make it.

                    Everyone knows upma recipe is make with adding water, rava and some veggies but today in this blog I want share you new style of recipe with the help of tamarind juice that every one wish to eat it. Godhuma rava upma is south Indian recipe which staple as breakfast at home which had a high nutritious mixing with different vegetables .not too many people prefer to eat upma but it have good proteins who are looking for weight loss this recipe really gives a good diet to maintain healthy body.

                 There are different styles of upma recipe like red rava, white rava , Bombay rava ,poha upma ,oats upma.BROKEN WHEAT RAVA UPMA is mainly mixing with onions, peanuts ,tamarind juice, godhuma rava to get a different taste. In India we can easily available in evening snacks in street food, vendors, restaurants, and also in every home easily make it.

               We can serve BROKEN WHEAT RAVA UPMA with sambar, tomato pickle, karram podi, sugar.

                     All the rava is good for us but taste wise slightly different , Choosing rava is most important for making a healthy dish .upma is mostly serve as breakfast but not every one like to eat it .

               There are different styles of upma recipe like red rava upma, white rava upma , Bombay rava ,poha upma ,oats upma but choosing rava is more essential. here I am choosing red broken wheat rava is very healthy ,taste for every one even kids are like to eat it. White broken wheat rava is good for diabetic patients taste and look wise slightly different.

BENEFITS OF BROKEN WHEAT RAVA UPMA:

Broken wheat rava is rich in fiber, proteins , calcium to maintain body healthy.

It’s helps to improve the building of good muscles and bone strength.

Godhuma rava upma which helps to low the glycemic index which means prevent the high blood sugar symptoms for diabetic patients.

Who are looking for weight loss this recipe really gives a good diet to maintain healthy body.

Broken wheat rava helps to replenishes the energy levels after the workout to get instant energy.

DERIVED INGRENDITS:

2 cups of Godhuma rava

1 Onion

2 Green chill

2 red chill

Small size lemon Tamarind juice

Jaggery

Salt

Peanuts

Curry leaves

Coriander leaves

Training nuts

Ghee

DERVIED STEPS:

STEP 1 : Firstly take a pan add 2 spoons of ghee pour the 2 cups of broken wheat rava fry them for 2 minutes in a medium flame.

Step 2: Take a same pan with oil add all training nuts like (mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal) curry leaves , 2 broken red chill fry them turn in golden color.

Step 3: Pour the hand full of ground nuts in a low –flame then ground nuts will cook inside as well as outside.

Step 4: Pour the slit green chill followed by chopped onions fry them which turns into transparent.

Step 5: Take small lemon size tamarind squeeze the tamarind pulp and make a juice.

Step 6: Add these tamarind juice into pan make into boil.

Step 7: Pour the rock salt as per your taste.

Step 8: Add small size jaggery mixing with tamarind juice then taste is really good.

Step 9: After boiling the tamarind juice add roasted rava on it.

Step 10: Maintain low flame stir with spoon till all the tamarind juice is absorbed and you get the soft upma.

Step 11: At last pour coriander leaves on it and serve them in a plate and enjoy godhuma rava mixing with pickle.

PROCEDURE:

Roasting rava:

Mixing veggies:

  • Take a same pan with oil add all training nuts like (mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal) curry leaves , 2 broken red chill fry them turn in golden color. Pour the hand full of ground nuts in a low –flame then ground nuts will cook inside as well as outside.

Boiling Tamarind juice:

  • Take small lemon size tamarind squeeze the tamarind pulp and make a juice. Add these tamarind juice into pan make into boil.
  •  Pour the rock salt as per your taste.
  • Add small size jaggery mixing with tamarind juice then taste is really good.

Upma:

  • After boiling the tamarind juice add roasted rava on it.
  • Maintain low flame stir with spoon till all the tamarind juice is absorbed and you get the soft upma.
  • At last pour coriander leaves on it and serve them in a plate and enjoy godhuma rava mixing with pickle.

BEST FOR MORE RESULTS:

Roasting rava or not is up to you, mixing Rava with ghee gives is best aroma and taste to rava .

We can add different veggies like tomato , peas, capsicum as per your choice.

You can add chopped ginger along with green chill to get a spicy taste.

At last pour ghee on upma to get best aroma and taste.

Adding tamarind juice less/more is your choice if you like more sour you can increase the quantity of juice.

Maintain medium-low flame only to get best output

Not everyone like to add jaggery as per your wish you can add them really taste so good in sour taste.
